Get to know Kutná Hora with our guide, who will introduce you to the history of the medieval town, which was the second most important city of the Czech Kingdom after Prague until the fifteenth century and where one third of European silver was mined. Thanks to its unique history, many church and town monuments have been preserved. Here you can visit the Gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara named after the patron saint of miners, the Baroque Jesuit college lined with statues like the Charles Bridge in Prague, the Silver Museum, which includes a 280-metre long mining tunnel, the Vlašský dvůr with the former Royal Mint and Royal Palace, many Gothic churches and houses. Sedlec is also part of Kutná Hora, where a chapel with an ossuary stands in the original cemetery with an admirable decoration of 40,000 human remains. Nearby is a Cistercian monastery now used for tobacco production and the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and St. John the Baptist.
We will be happy to arrange a guided tour of the town, as well as tranfer and entrance tickets to the historic buildings and recommend a good local restaurant.
